One Current Market Observation:
Summer trading has been in full effect. Across strategies and firms, I’ve been hearing traders pull back. Right now, I also see no leading theme outside of the recent range breakout in crypto. For now, my stance is still cautious until proven otherwise.
One Nugget of Trading Wisdom:
I received an email from a trader who has not proven his edge yet but is burning money blowing funded trader combines. I know I’ve said this before, but just trade in a f’in demo account… 90%+ of traders fail. If the odds are stacked against you, you want to minimize the cost of failure as much as possible.
One Reflective Question:
What signs will you look for in the markets that will tell you we are in more of a risk-on environment for your trading?
One 1%-Improvement Idea:
Look back on your year so far. Assess what actions you need to take to finish strong and be proud of where you end up for 2026.
One Reading Recommendation:
Ok, not trading related, but very relevant to my main audience. Young Money by Jack Raines is a fantastic, fun read on taking full advantage of each chapter of your life and the advantages unique to it.
Forget outcome. Let’s get better this month.
