One Current Market Observation:
Right now, the fundamental value experts think stocks are expensive, yet we can’t pull back. Oil experts think oil is deeply mispriced and undervalued, yet we can’t rally. The funny part is I agree with both of them, but the price action is the only truth that matters.
One Nugget of Trading Wisdom:
Too many traders have been asking me about shorting the semiconductors or figuring out the overall market trend. You need to differentiate between steady strength with breadth versus pockets of euphoria. Besides a stock or two, I’m mostly seeing the former rather than the latter.
One Reflective Question:
The best movers tend to stay the best movers unless they capitulate. Have you been open-minded to playing these moves with the trend? If not, why?
